Best Buy Owns Future shop. If anything I would look for the future shop at Prospect and Regent to dissapear in the long run. Best buy if their premium store much better.

they were going there for a bit but stopped going to regent mall then people started complaining at regent that there was no service & had to walk way over to corbett ya gosh im sure they can have service there also just leave regent go up the road to corbett then go to their routes like how long does it take to get to corbett centre for them? like its jsut seconds away make a stop then go to the routes

It would also be nice if our “wonderful” transit system went into Trinity area instead of just Regent Mall.

ya love to see taco bell to come here.ive said for years that TB should come to fton but when arbys came then left i got thinking would TB last cause arbys didnt love to see arbys come back.
ya as for ikea i doubt theyll ever bring something like that to fton but u never know.
but i thought corbett centre was suppose to be a development to bring new stores that we dont or never had before but all ive seen was them bring stores that we already have although dollarama im not complaining bout but why did easyhome move from prospect st? oh well think that might be the only one that moved lol…..
but ya be nice to see tims finally come cause i thought it was suppose to come the following year after it left regent mall.but theyve had so much trouble since starting with this development.like if the UNB dont want this then why did they ever build home depot? like if they are going to continue then why dont they get on with it & bring these stores that they promised this city instead of delaying it.like where costco is suppose to be going was all cleared out then it grew back.
just tired of them saying theyre going to bring stores but they wait for years. like they want to attract new stores but seems like they just let so much time go by & then saint john or moncton ends up getting them.im still hestitate whether costco will come or not for years theyve said fton IS getting one but till i see them build it then i wont believe it. look how long it took for this capital to get future shop? like pei got one before we did.& saint john. but oh well guess all we can do is wait like we’ve been doing whats another few years to wait till they get corbett builted up…..

Good point Vero, I forgot that Best Buy owned Future Shop. I guess the competition won’t be that great. Maybe the Costco will provide the competition then.

Kent, I’d love to see Ikea come in. Going to Montreal or Boston for Ikea just doesn’t cut it.

I for one will be ecstatic if/when the Costco finally goes in. I know some folks are adamantly against it, but as a father of 4, you simply can’t beat some of the pricing for groceries and such.

I’d love to see an Ikea here (or even in Moncton), but I doubt it will ever happen.
