It appears that the axe has fallen and CBC has cancelled some of it’s (at least in my opinion) best series. Judging from comments and articles at various sites, it seems that I’m not the only disappointed viewer out there either.
Loss of Intelligence
As I had eluded to in an earlier post, CBC has cut [...]

I’ve previously blogged about my fondness for the TV show Intelligence and after the great season finale in December, I now have a free block of time on Monday nights.
Apparently I was not the only one complaining about CBC’s lack of advertising and promotion of the show on its network especially prior to the season [...]

Last Friday, Justice Peter Glennie delivered his verdict on the injunction request by Brunswick News against its former Woodstock Bugle-Observer publisher William Kenneth Langdon and the Carleton Free Press.
The most controversial portion of the requested injunction which asked for a [...]

My previous post on the case of Irving / Brunwick News vs. the former Bugle-Observer publisher WilliamKenneth Langdon stated that the case would be brought to court on October 19th.
According to the CBC, at the course case the judge ruled that affidavits entered into evidence by Mr. Langdon were inadmissible the case. Brunswick News [...]

As I have previously mentioned, one of my favourite shows on TV (of which there are very few) is Intelligence which plays on CBC. After some rumours at the end of last season that the series might not be renewed, I was glad to see it back on the tube last night. I [...]

How much can you trust articles on wikipedia? For that matter, how much can you trust other sources of information?
This article (Wikipedia and the Intelligence Services - OhmyNews International) describes signs that suggest intelligence agencies may be placing mis-information on Wikipedia and it also has a bit of a historical perspective on previous mis-information [...]

It looks like at least one television station (or at least program) is getting it….
Dan Misener dot com » Blog Archive » TVO is seriously showing up the CBC
Why not let people download episodes of shows. Most shows are only broadcast once and then put in a vault. If you happen to miss [...]

I (along with apparently 2 million other people) caught the premiere of CBC’s “Little Mosque on the Prairie“. Laughed my ass off! Great show and highly recommended. I was quite surprised as CBC had hyped up this show quite a bit and I was expecting to be disappointed (as I usually am [...]
