It appears that the upcoming Wordpress 2.3 will contain some database schema changes which I am afraid will break some of the wordpress plugins.

Wordpress 2.3 Beta 1 and Beta 2 have been released on the last two Mondays. The plan is to have beta releases on each Monday until the release of Wordpress 2.3 on September 24th.
