Keeping informed in New Brunswick

Living in New Brunswick, it is sometimes hard to get some real information about what is going on around the province. With one company owning all of the major newspapers in the province, there is only one perspective or lens that stories are reported on. Luckily CBC still does exist in NB and sometimes it does bring out alternative viewpoints or stories but its amount of original reporting is far too small for my liking.

Luckily there are some blogs in NB on which people do talk about issues facing New Brunswick and New Brunswickers. One of my favourites is David Campbell’s It’s the Economy Stupid. The blog covers mainly economic issues around the province and discusses issues such as depopulation, wages, attracting investment to the province and much, much more. If you are interested in any of these subjects or are just curious about perspectives in NB, check it out.
