Over the past couple of days, I have experienced a couple of incidents of downtime.
First on Friday, my DNS resolution stopped working. Very strange, I thought. It turns out that my secondary DNS had gone down and a change on my firewall was blocking UDP DNS traffic so no resolution could occur.
Then Friday night and again on Sunday my connection went down. There apparently was an issue with Rogers which is the upstream service for my fixed wireless provider eastern wireless on Friday night and then Sunday the outage was due to a power outage.
Anybody know what downtime does to Google or other search engine rankings? Do your rankings go down as your uptime increases??? Just curious….
